Today we see a huge propaganda against Islam through the media, because of the behaviour of the muslims. And I as a muslim know that muslims don't like this at all, actually they hate it. Everytime when they see something against Islam, they point their fingers towards the nonmuslims and say: 'You are a liar!' But in the same time you can see hatred in their faces. And what is shown about Islam in the media? Hatred. So while the muslims are talking against hatred, they talk with hatred. Many muslims believe that they have to fight against mistakes, but they never think if they are wrong or not. In this modern world, a new islamic trend has been created in many islamic
countries: Yes, it is hatred indeed.
countries: Yes, it is hatred indeed.
I don't talk about countries like Iraq and Afghanistan, because they don't have opportunities to
think about these topics since they are in war and have to deal with starvation. I talk about Muslims
who live in peace and full of joy. While they are eating an ice cream they speak about bad stuff.
While they make a big fat dinner, they talk about bad stuff. While they are playing online games
they talk about bad stuff.
What I personally learnt in my life is that if someone is talking, he will not act. Instead of talking they
could act. Muslims don't like hatred, it's true, but what is missing on them is that they always look
upon others instead of looking at themselves first. While talking against hatred with hatred, they
produce hatred. If I would die now and would have a chance to give a last message to the
Muslims, it would be these words: Nobody can fight against darkness with darkness, darkness
can only be fought with light.
Be a shining star then the darkness will begin to disappear. Rise up 'till the heaven, become the
sun, so everybody will be enlighted by your light. We cannot expect Light from Muslims who hit
their wifes, who cannot smile and who are full of hatred. Don't talk bad about the newspapers, if you want to change something, try to change it. If not, be quite. You can always pray to God about your expectations on earth, but you and I know that talking emptily does not change anything. You have time and space to enlighten yourself and the people around you, but you spent your great time on complaining about things you will never get to touch with. If you are a muslim, I'm sure you know what I am talking about.
The ego always needs enemies. I once heard a muslim saying: 'If a stone hits your foot, complain
America.' I don't know if he meant it politically or not, what I care is about a deep psychology of
every human mind. Your life is not going well? Wonderful, lets complain America!
Like I said before the ego needs an enemy to throw out his awkwardness on it.The ego never
likes to be complained, sometimes it would rather die then to be criticized. And the muslims are
world class on complaining others. I have to admit that they have very strong egos (not all of them
actually).
This type of ego can be wonderfully seen on the communication between muslim groups, too.
Every group accept itself as the only group which lead to the right path. And there are hundreds of
thousand groups in the islamic world. If a nonmuslim enters Islam, one of the first things he is
confronted about is this topic. He asks himself: ''Which group is the right one?'' But I honestly say;
stay out of every single group. Stay at home, read the Qur'an and if you have more time, read the
Hadith (sayings) of the Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him). Believe in Allah and trust in
Him. And then you will recognize quickly that most of this groups have absolutely nothing to do with
with the Qur'an and the Prophet.
Another bad attitude of the muslims today is that they think they know the religion of God better
than others. Muslims today are talking about every kind of stuff about Islam although they don't
know surely what they are talking. They even dare to talk about difficult topics where the Ashab
(Friends of the Prophet) didn't dare to talk about. What I'm trying to say is that we think we are the
best, maybe not theoretically, but practically. If you think you know everything how can you be
criticized? How can you left your bad attitudes? Does God sent you a letter from heaven in which
is written: 'The Ticket to Paradise'? Always try to listen to everybody even if it is against you.
So, what is the solution? The answer is simplier than the action it needs: Control your ego. If you
know your ego you can fight against it. But the problem is when you don't know your ego. How do
you want to fight an enemy whom you don't know? Your ego always wants to be right, and it tries to
make everybody wrong. So try to get informations about the types of ego. What I strongly
recommend is the bestseller book 'Now! The Power of Now' written by Eckhart Tolle.
I love my muslim brothers and sister very much, but it shouldn't hold me back to talk about our
misdeeds. Don't you know what the Kalif Omar said to his friends? 'If you dont criticize me, go
away from me.' So, its wonderful that we are able to talk about these topics. It should enthuse us to
try to change in a better way. If you want to do something for God, never mix your country, group,
social status and religion into it. Because God owns all of this, but we own nothing. Don't forget
that we need God and He doesn't need us. Peace be with all my muslim brothers and sisters!..
