A. Huzeyfe
Hi, my name is Huzeyfe, I'm 22 years old and I study at the Faculty of Theology in the University of İstanbul.
I was born in 1991 in Lustenau (Austria) in a family with turkish origins. Because my parents were religious, I learnt about God and Religion very early in my life. Although I was very young I had many spiritual experiencies. I began to think about the purpose of life when I was like 5 years old. When I was 7, my parents sent me to a nearly mosque to learn how to read arabic and to study the basics of İslam. I knew much about Religion before, but my religious life began when I was 13 years old and read the life of the Sahabis (Friends of the Prophet Mohammed). I was very fascinated, it was like I was not a Muslim before and I converted to Islam from this time on. For the first time in my life, I found a purpose. Life wasn't only about 'gaining' and 'losing', it had a deeper meaning, it had a purpose indeed. I went to different islamic organizations and heard many different ideas. In 2009, I went to Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia to perform the Umra (little Hadsch). This Umra changed my personal life. While I was in Mecca, I fell in love with God and I became more spiritual. Because I recognized great Ego's by the islamic organizations, I broke my relationships with them in order to search for the ultimate truth, lonely. Because I lived 20 years of my life in Austria and had many austrian friends, I learned the christian religion and culture very well. |
I was educated in 5 different languages:
German, Turkish, English, Latin and Arabic. After finishing my High School, I signed up to the 'International Theology Program' (UİP) which is organized by the turkish islamic organization Diyanet to study at the University of İstanbul. My lifestyle and believings has been changed since I came to İstanbul in 2012. I began to see things I never saw before. Because İstanbul is a large tourism center and one of the biggest cities on this planet, I saw many humans with different cultures, religions and psychologies. So, my curiosity to differencies of mankind raised dramatically. I began to study Buddhism and Hinduism. I spent this 1 year to educate myself personally about Psychology and especially about Spiritualism. Afterwards, I read the Bible and educated myself about Judaism. Then I found something fascinating: All the spiritual and religious ways I studied had many things in common. I always tolerated every culture, beliefs and all kind of persons. I am always happy to learn new things from others. For me, nobody have to change, everyone can change. We humans were created free, so everybody has the right to choose what he wants for himself. Thats the beauty of this world. I want to share my studies with the world. I know that I am not like the other Muslims, so I personally think that my posts may be interesting for everyone. |
